Eurostar offer 3 types of level of comfort or "Travel Options" on their trains - Business Premier, Leisure Select and Standard. Think of Business and Leisure Select as something similar to First or Business Class on a flight.

Business Premier on Eurostar

Business Premier offers various extras for the Business traveller, such as choice of seat in dedicated business class carriages, a dedicated ticket office and check-in area for speedy boarding, business lounges, onboard power sockets, magazines and newspapers, and excellent food and drink.

Leisure Select

Leisure Select is similar to the Business Premier, but for the holiday maker rather than business traveller. Leisure select offers various extras such as larger seats in dedicated carriages, as well as magazines and newspapers, and excellent food and drink served to you at your seat / table.

Standard

Standard travel on Eurostar is comfortable, and offers good bar and buffet facilities, family areas and a 30 minute check-in.

Eurostar trains - Legroom and Seating

There are 766 seats on a Eurostar train.

Legroom

Business Premier and Leisure select seats are of course the largest. These seats have 94cm of legroom and are 66cm wide (armrest up). The standard class seats have 84cm of legroom and are 47cm wide.

Choice of Seating

Business Premier and Leisure select seating choice includes:

Aisle Seats- A seat next to the aisle with one seat next to it
Window Seats - A seat next to the window with one seat next to it
Solo Seat - A seat on its own next to the window with no other seats next to it
Opposite (Club 2) - Seated at a table for two facing each other. Perfect if you like to have a table and a bit more space if you are travelling with 1 other.
Table (Club 4) - Seated around a table for four. Great for groups.

Standard seating includes:

Aisle Seats and Window Seats, facing forward or back, similar to "Airline" style seats we know from other trains.
Family - 4 seats around a fold down table for four, located in the family area.
The family area of the train is located in coaches 1 and 18. The area is divided from the rest of the carriage so children cannot wander too far and has a number of seats with fold down (rather than fixed) tables to give more room.

Luggage on Eurostar trains

When travelling on the Eurostar train, you will take your own luggage with you, rather than checking it in to be stored on the hold, as with air travel.

There are overhead luggage racks above the seats and also larger luggage racks at the end of each coach / carriage.

You can carry have 2 items of baggage per person, plus 1 small item of hand luggage. This does not include large items (for example bicycles) which are dealt with separately by Eurostar. Also, luggage for groups can be handled by Eurostar.
